US Government National Institute of Standards and Technology NIST awards Interactor the Data Appliance Contract
Discover how Interactor's Data Appliance Contract with NIST for the CHARIoT Challenge is revolutionizing public safety communication with innovative IoT and AR solutions.
Sensis has selected Interactor as the data appliance for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) CHARIoT Challenge, hosted by NIST’s Public Safety Communication Research division.About the Challenge Through the CHARIoT Challenge, two groups of contestants – Augmented Reality (AR) and Internet-of-Things (IoT) data contestants – have either created IoT data streams or integrated the data streams into actionable augmented reality solutions that together will help public safety communicate and respond more efficiently. Interactor Data Appliance Solution. The competition involves using Interactor to transmit the realistic, timestamped smart facility data and personal area network data streams that would occur during emergency scenarios. The four scenarios each require simulations of hundreds of sensors and devices, including drones, traffic data, gunshot spotter, CCTV, and various sensor types.
