Summary
Interactor was felicitated at MITRE Tysons Corner, VA office and acknowledged for its innovation in addressing a key security issue inherent in IoT networks.

MITRE Challenge was to detect devices and identify network changes by passively listening to radio frequency (RF) data emanating from the model home network. The model home network included a large number of IoT devices, such as door locks, thermostats, and lighting controls.

According to MITRE “…solution that works in the home could be adapted to other network environments, such as a hospital or military facility”

In conjunction with research efforts with the Department of Homeland Security S&T, End Point Detector is expected to be available in the market in early 2018.

Use Cases

  1. Network Administrator: What is really on my network?
  2. Operations: How do I stop a device from exposing its user to others in the area?
  3. Facility Security: How do I know what’s receiving and transmitting data in my facility?
  4. Security from Attacker: How to stop hackers from exploiting and adding rogue another device to this mesh
